We buy vegetables and stuff in Newton and not in Kg or Gms, believe me, we do.

I'll try to keep my posts concise every time. Yes we weigh vegetables, fruits, groceries in Newton. Since weight=mass*acceleration due to gravity The kg or gram we use while buying and negotiating is technically mass whose unit is the kilogram, but what about 'g' acceleration due to gravity. In our solar system, Earth by default is taken with the value of g=1. That is why it always remains concealed while measuring weights.
